Our intellectual property (IP) boom began in 2011. Our team saw an unmet need to make concrete and similar hardscape materials self-cleaning of pollutants - so stains evaporate.
Concrete is the most widely used man-made material in the world. Consequently, reducing maintenance would make owners money, reduce their labor, reduce their carbon footprint, reduce their water use and destroy pollutants before they run off to damage the environment, worldwide.
Fine ...
We had success in small-scale laboratory experiments.
A noticeably big win ...
Next...?
We worked with local universities and characterization labs to validate our experiments.
We won funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
We won funding from the State of Florida's High-Tech Corridor incubator.
We transformed laboratory curiosities into mature, real-world money-making technologies.
We developed Trade Secrets and applied for Patents to protect the underlying IP.
And now: we are satisfying customers. These include a large entertainment destination in Florida, property management companies and hundreds of other commercial and private entities.
So, we make hard stuff simple.
"Simple is good." - Albert Einstein (paraphrase from the German)
